Oran O'Cuinn is extremely proud to have held the title as Northern Ireland Champion for the past eight years since he first grasped the title as a fifty year old man. Now fifty eight, he's begun to not so subtly insult the trainers of Northern Ireland, challenging them in various ways to defeat him. He often says he's ready to retire but he's not going anywhere until someone makes him. He frequently buddies up with the Elite Four of his country, all of whom get along well with him as most are about his same age as well. A group of "Replacers" have begun to take battling very seriously in Northern Ireland, holding the ideology that younger people should "replace" the older crowd that currently has a stronghold on Northern Ireland's Elite Four and National Champion titles. O'Cuinn is honestly rather happy that the group has formed and has been quoted as saying "Bring it on".

Samuel O'Seaghdha son of Pastor Conner O'Seaghdha is the first member of Northern Ireland's Elite Four. Conner O'Seaghdha is a well celebrated religious figure in his neck of Northern Ireland and many thought that his son would take the reigns after him, being a largely religious man as well, but Samuel has taken a different route. Samuel believes that churches aren't the most effective way to connect God with His people is to be in the public eye. Because of this, he's chosen to live a Christian life as an Elite Four member as an example to others who are interested in the path of Christ. Although disappointed at first, his father now accepts his path and is very proud of him, as is the rest of their congregation. Samuel O'Seadghdha is a fire type master who's known to joke that the "Fires of Hell have nothing on his pokemon."

Tyler Devin is the second stop for challengers who decide to compete against Northern Ireland's Elite Four. At 60 years of age, Devin is the picture of physical health believing strongly in doing as much or more physical labor as he puts his pokemon through. He has been known to run and win various races of varying types through his 40 years as a trainer and his pokemon are each as physically fit as he is, in their own way. Considering he is a bug type master, he does most of his training for both himself and his pokemon outside. This training frequently includes obstacle courses and extended camping trips which he sometimes invites other trainers to, turning them into friendly, but extremely competitive, competitions.

At twenty eight years old, Robert Sheehy is both the youngest, and the most extreme member of Northern Ireland's Elite Four. Obsessed with fame, women, and throwing parties, Sheehy is unavoidably a tabloid favorite. His expertise as a a flying type master is often underestimated in light of his playboy-esque parties and his dangerous sky diving acrobatics. It is mused by some that this is on purpose, so that people take him less seriously as a challenger, thus inevitably coming to him unprepared and losing the battle, which Sheehy thoroughly enjoys.

Son of a well to do fisherman, Ryan Bradan was given every opportunity as a young child and was able to do a great deal of traveling early on in his pokemon adventure. Throughout his travels he became very interested in fossil pokemon. Through this fascination, he decided to become a rock type master. Of the Elite Four of Northern Ireland, he's probably the quiest and the least assuming, usually chuckling quietly at their boisterousness without fully joining in himself. At sixty three years old, he's equally intrigued with the "Replacers" and is ready to retire when someone worthy is ready to take his place.
